Here is the video I tried to make for my wife for V-Day. For some reason Photo Booth didn't want to ever record more than 45 seconds. . . out of 10 attempts. To say the least, playing the song through 10 times each time to find that only the first 45 were saved. . . kinda sucked. But oh well, it was worth it.

In The Beginning. . .

There comes a moment when you realize you are no longer a kid anymore. It comes in many shapes and forms. It can be something as small as making your first car payment, or something as huge has the birth of your first child.

Some people think that once this happens, everything "fun" you've been doing has to stop. . .not true.

Now in some respects and aspects of life, things do need to cease to exsist. But things like playing that game you've loved, collecting those cards you've had since you were 8, or those silly stuffed bears are all perfectaly acceptable to continue as an adult. . . in moderation.

I myself am constantly under the preverbial microscope when it comes to my previous statement. I play a video game called World of Warcraft, where in this game I and my trusted companions(Guild) take on the evils that plague the virtual world. Sometimes I fall victum to enthralling myself into the virtual world more so than the real one. Now we all have something that we will tend to put before more important matters. So how do you actually moderate yourself when you happen to fall a little too deep?

I am thankful that I have a wife and son who want attention on a consistant basis(not needy, just love me so want to spend time with me). They are able to keep me in decent check, but there are still times that I will spend more time then I need to playing games. A few good things to do for any other guys/gals who tend to do this are:
- Be sure to save some time before you to go bed to talk with your significant other. Shows them you do actually care
- Play less or cut out days that you don't play at all(or very little with easy stopping points)
- Surprise them every now and then on a day they are used to you playing, and just dont, it's great to see the reaction.
- Bring something special home, or cook something special(unless you can cook, then allow them to cook the special something but you get it all from the store)

Most of my posts will be fun and funny, but felt like starting off with a little deeper content. I'll have a new post in a few minutes of an amazing incident that just happened in the office
